VIDAK 2023: War and Peace, and Now

VIDAK 2023 Winter International Invitational Exhibition held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) Museum - Design Pathway during the period from 9 to 15 December 2023. Exhibition Theme: “War and Peace, and Now: the Beginning of Peace Beyond Borders” Meaning of the Exhibition Theme: The message of the exhibition theme is a wish for an end to all wars. For those suffering from war, designers from around the world ‘now’ want to design the beginning of peace beyond borders. About the work: War is division. War is menacing. War is hell. This what I tried to visualise with “No War Nowhere”. In my research, I was struck by a data map by the ACLED, which shows in bright red the countries currently engaged in armed conflict, totalling to nearly half of the globe.
